4.1: Cultivating knowledge with subject mastery

As I was teaching both Literature and English, I had to use the content knowledge and pedagogical theories taught in NIE to adapt lessons. This was to ensure that I could cater to the students' needs and learning abilities. For example, for English, I used a KWL chart to get students to understand the concept of a proposal. This allowed them to raise questions on what they wanted to learn about the idea and check on how much they have learnt.
